Meet Our Founder
Elizabeth "Lizzie" Piazza
Collector, Curator, Art Advisory, and Design
With a background in art history and over a decade in the high-end art world, Elizabeth “Lizzie” Piazza founded Piazza Fine Art in 2016 to bring thoughtful curation, hospitality, and artistic vision to life. As a former director of a blue-chip art collection and family office, Lizzie brings deep expertise to every project—whether advising collectors, curating public spaces, or collaborating with clients and vendors to design unforgettable events.
Since 2019, Lizzie has also partnered with her husband at Port City Partners, blending creativity and real estate to help revitalize historic Brunswick and the Golden Isles. Together, they’ve launched award-winning developments that center around community, culture, and commerce.
Raised in Spring Lake, New Jersey and Sea Island, Georgia––where she now resides with her husband and five children––Lizzie graduated cum laude from Villanova University in 2009 with dual bachelor’s degrees in Art History and French. In 2010, she earned a Master of Arts from Christie’s Education, specializing in Art History, the History of the Art Market, and Connoisseurship. In 2016—the same year she received her Certificate in Appraisal Studies in Fine and Decorative Art from NYU—Lizzie served as a judge for the Christie’s Emerging Artist Prize.
